Being the trailblazing iconoclasts that we are, we decided to buck the recessionary trend and do some hiring. Joining citrus Portland this month are:
Steve Klinetobe, Associate Creative Director. Steve co-founded Portland’s Curiosity Group, an agency that plans, builds and evaluates content for some the worlds largest brands—HP, SEGA, Dreamworks, Microsoft, to name a few. Steve is a bit of a Renaissance man whose skills span strategy, digital design, content development and actual, bona fide advertising. He also likes monkeys.
Keely Phillips, Account Manager. Keely comes from Portland’s HereNow agency where she was Project Manager on Nike. Prior positions include Event Marketing Brand Manager at Chicago’s Alli (Alliance of Action Sports via NBC Sports / MTV Networks) where she managed the national Dew Tour, and marketing positions with the Portland Trail Blazers and Global Spectrum (Rose Garden Arena and Memorial Coliseum).
Ali Swaim is our newest Account Coordinator. She hails from Bend’s DVA Advertising where she was Traffic Director and Account Coordinator.
Tracy White is citrus’ new Marketing Director and will be working with us to ensure that we are providing the best marketing services for all of our existing and potential clients. Tracy comes from Entercom Portland. Entercom is one of the five largest radio-broadcasting companies in the United States. (In case you didn’t already know.)
MacDougall & Sons Bat Co. makes a bat so unique it sells itself. Well, almost. MacDougall called on citrus to develop the company’s brand identity, along with a new name for their flagship product. A comprehensive website and sales collateral followed.
One of our better capabilities is lunch (or, drinks for that matter.) We'll mix great food and drink with a serious, smart discussion about how we can help you grow your business.
If you are in Portland, lets try Olympic Provisions. Its downstairs in our building. Forbes Magazine recently listed Olympic Provisions as one of "America's Best New Restaurants."
"A sausage party, literally. This small meat curing facility, named for the Portland neighborhood it calls home, offers up its own salamis, pancetta, chorizo and more, as well as a sprinkling of vegetable side dishes. The sandwiches served at lunchtime earn particular praise among loyalists."
Don't worry, the veggies are superb too.
